Our Story
Bardia Wildlife Resort is a family run hotel located at the border to Bardia National Park in Nepal. Our resort offers a unique experience to explore the wildlife of Bardia, including tigers, elephants and rhinos, through our safari tours. Our beautiful garden has 12 bungalows for our guests to stay in, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment for their stay. The resort has been run by Hira and Shankar for over 20 years, with Hira being the first female guide in the area. We take pride in our commitment to sustainable tourism and strive to give back to the local community through our operations.

Local food, organically grown
Our family-run wildlife resort offers a unique dining experience that celebrates the culture and cuisine of Nepal. Our talented chef, Haru, who belongs to the Tharu people, prepares delicious local food using traditional methods and ingredients grown in our own garden. Our guests can enjoy a variety of traditional dishes such as curries and dal bhat, or why not gather around the fire for some spicy grilled meat? Come to us with your suggestions.
